Just started using my Pixel Watch 2. It was notifying me if I had not completed my hourly steps and it was telling me how many steps I needed to complete that hour. Now I am getting a vibration before the hour is complete, but it is not telling me how many steps I need to complete that hours goal. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you fix the problem?

Hello & welcome @MonarchWI
The Fitbit team is aware of this bug, but it hasn't been resolved yet.
My Pixel Watch 2, like yours, used to show the hourly move notification with remaining steps. Now, I get "phantom" Fitbit notifications for hourly move, at the end of my scheduled time for hourly move, and when I achieve my daily step count. I think there might be a couple more, but these are the ones I remember for certain. It's a bit annoying to get the notification sound/vibration but not see the accompanying notification text.
Hopefully, this bug will be fixed soon in an upcoming firmware / Fitbit app update.

Hi @MonarchWI
I know there's a firmware update for the Pixel Watch 2, but currently it's only rolling out for the LTE version. And, I think it's for users outside of the USA. So far, I haven't seen the log of what fixes/improvements are included in that firmware update.
So far, we haven't heard about any updates to resolve this Pixel Watch 2 bug. Many of us are anxiously waiting.
If it gets too annoying, you can turn off the Fitbit notifications via the Fitbit app.
