God tracking worked on the phone, but missing under exercise.

I hiked today, and the GPS tracker on my phone logged the entire hike. I was able to finish the hike on the phone, but now the hike doesn't show up under exercises. Not sure where it went or how to get it back.

Hello @Rich33, glad to see you have joined the Fitbit Community! I was reading your Hike activity is missing from your activity history. Since has been a few days after you posted, I'm wondering how it goes? Is the exercise still missing? Is your tracker syncing other stats?

At the time the exercise was made, was there GPS Signal during the hike? When you finished the hike, did the distance and map save correctly?

Let me know these details to have a better scope of the issue that you are experiencing, I'll be around.

Yes, gps full signal. Miles and map were perfect when I finished the hike.

Hello @Rich33, my apologies for my absences after our last interaction and thank you for sharing with me additional details.

Note that some users have experiencing the same issue, this has been reported already and our team is working to find the root of this malfunctioning. However I'm afraid if the map course was not saved there is no way to recover this data.

Have you tried to use a different category to track your exercise to see if the issue persists? It might be an alternative while we work to improve this experience.

See you around and feel free to report any change.
