I have spoken with fitbit support (via twitter & live chat) and am unable to get an answer on when the fitbit app will be updated to be compatible with the Google Pixel 2. My fitbit will not sync to my phone even after all troubleshooting. I was bascially told by support that they might never add the Pixel 2 to the supported devices list... Anyone else having issues?

yes! I'm lucky and mine will sync...but only after un-pairing the device, restarting my phone, re-pairing the device, and then syncing. And it will only sync once before having to do it all over again. SOOOO FRUSTRATING!

I was FINALLY able to get mine to sync, but only after restarting my fitbit twice. Let's hope it stays connected!

Welcome to the Forums @hmw19, @Irishdancer187 and @Hjjepsen.
Thanks for sharing your feedback on the matter.
Perhaps you could support this suggestion about adding the Pixel 2 to the supported devices list.
As for unsupported devices, we cannot guarantee that they will work correctly because the app is not fully optimized to work with that devices hardware and software. It is possible that some trackers will sync but we cannot guarantee that it will work all of the time.
Nevertheless, you could try to follow these steps to get your Fitbit to sync. Again, it might not work but I think it is worth a try.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
