HTC Compatibility

Hi All

I am new to the forum and looking for advice please 🙂 I would like to buy the FitBit Charge 2 as my first fitness watch.  I have a beloved HTC 626 Desire model and this is not on the compatible device list but apparently this does not mean it does not work. The android version is 6.0.1 has anyone had or have this phone and find the FitBit works ok with it?  I don't want to buy it and find it doesn't work.  I have spoken to Currys today and they have basically told me to contact FitBit hence my post!  If anyone can help I'd appreciate it 🙂

HI @Loutens10 Do you know anyone who has a fitbit so that you could download the app and try syncing to their tracker ?

Thanks for your message. That's a good idea actually but I don't know anyone with a Charge 2 only other fitbits. I'd hate to buy one, find it doesn't work and they refuse a refund because it's not on the list of compatible phones. I think I'll try and give fitbit a call tomorrow. Thank you anyway
