Haven't had a sync in over a month

My alta hr hasn't synced since Sept 3 and it's now Oct 21. I've reset the fitbit using the USB charger button, uninstalled the app for a while and reinstalled, made sure all of my stuff was up to date on my Samsung Galaxy S7... nothing works. I have got it to sync for today but all of my other data is missing, even on my online dashboard. I hate missing all of my hard earned steps for such a long period of time. How can I recover the last month and keep it syncing? I've had this same issue about 3 or 4 times now this year.

Hello @TiffanyHTX.

Thanks for trying all of those steps before posting in here.

The Fitbit will only store data for up to 30 days, with 7 of those being minute to minute data and the others being totals. Since the Fitbit didn't sync for all of that time, then it is not possible to recover the information that was not synced. If you want, you manually log some activities to have some information show on your personal records, this data wouldn't count towards challenges or friends leaderboards.

If the Fitbit stops syncing again, I'd recommend that you try  running the setup process as if it was a brand new device.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
