Having to keep deleting the app for it to allow notifications on Fitbit versa 2

Hi I have the Xiaomi Note 10 Pro and I keep having to uninstall and reinstall my Fitbit app for it to allow notifications to my Fitbit versa 2. It comes up in red writing on the app under the notifications that I need to restart my phone for it to work.

I've reset my phone, the Fitbit etc and the only way to get it to work again is to uninstall the app and start again.

Hi @Tamosaurus - Have you tried the more simple solution to the problem, such as

  • clear cache and force stop the Fitbit App, or
  • Logout and login and then go to the home screen on the phone without closing the Fitbit App, a sync popup will appear,
  • click on it and it should pair and link the watch, then you won't need to uninstall the app and set it up each time.

To avoid this happening in the first place ensure that the phone isn't closing the Bluetooth or the Fitbit App from running in background.
