Having to manually sync every time...

New with this update... I have to manually sync my HR and my zip and I keep losing steps! I use my HR for workouts and my zip for work. I have recently purchased s flex2 for swimming but  I have totally given up on that device since I've only been able to sync it twice, and only after removing and adding the devices. I have reset, removed, added,  uninstalled the app, and tried the fix of closing the app and turning off the bluetooth and reopening the app and restarting the bluetooth, sometimes that works, but only and always I have to sync manually. I am getting really frustrated! I have a Galaxy S7, PLS ADVISE!!!

Hi there @WARMALOHA, I noticed this is your second post, nice to have you back here in the Fitbit Community! I see you have tried several solutions on your own to no avail, so I completely understand your frustration.

I would like you to try the following: Log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

Keep me posted how it goes. I'll be around.

Yeah, that's the only way your application works - - Force Stop the App, restart the phone. Doesn't matter what phone is being used. Doesn't matter which Fitbit is being used. It's just a badly written Application that breaks and stays broken more often than it works. Doesn't matter what version of Windows you have.
