Heart Rate Data Not available for workout

I use the Fitbit android app to record my walks. When completed the GPS data is there, but tells me not enough heart rate data to display on the heart rate screen for the workout. But my heart is recorded and displaying in my daily heart rate section. Am I missing something or is there a bug with the app?

Please use the exercise recording mode on the tracker.

I have been having the same thing happen lately but it use to work just fine before. Its super frustrating, my heart rate is recorded everywhere else but for some reason its not showing up on the GPS tracked workout. There are multiple iso threads about it as well so it must just be a bad bug Fitbit haven't quite worked out?
