Heart rate isn't syncing with the app

Since Monday the app no longer records my heart rate. The last time series graph it shows is from 4 days ago and the resting heart rate graph also stops 4 days ago. The fitbit is measuring my present heart rate fine which displays on the watch and on the dashboard. It is also syncing fine and tracking sleep as usual. I'm not sure if it is relevant but on Tuesday I used the phone app to manually track a long run but had forgotten to put the fitbit back on after surfing. Is there a way of resetting without reinstalling the app?

Hi @adytom. Welcome to the Forums!

I'm glad that your information is syncing correctly with the exception of your heart rate. This is odd, and thanks for the details. Although you didn't use your Fitbit device when surfing, it should have synced your heart rate once you put it back on your wrist. May I know if the Fitbit app is updated? If you've not done so, I'd recommend to force stop the Fitbit app within your phone's settings and reboot your phone. Also, try restarting your Fitbit device to ensure its connectivity with the app.

If the issue persists, please provide me with the model of your Fitbit device, as well with your phone's model. Also attach a screenshot of the heart rate screen to take a deeper look of what is displayed.

Keep me posted!

Rebooting, uninstalling-reinstalling the app and clearing the cache didn't
work but deleting all the app data, force stop followed by a phone restart
worked... Phew. Thanks for the follow up though
