Hi, when adding a sleep log for a nap taken close to bedtime, like if I fall asleep in the tub while taking a hot bath where I've taken my fitbit off, it gets added to the previous night's amounts. This ends up giving me a "star" for a night I shouldn't get one for, and none for the one I did well on.
It's annoying to have it look like I've shorted myself on hours where I haven't when I'm trying to stay on track and use the logs for encouragement! Can this be changed, please?

Sleep is always credited to the day you wake up.
Without having given actual times, I assume that is how it worked for you.
That is the way it is and cannot be changed.

My experience agrees with @JohnnyRow. In addition, I have times when the start time is later than when I went to bed, or it logged sleep when I was watching TV. In these cases I edit/delete as necessary. This includes at times, remembering the start or end time of one log before deleting it, and then editing the other log to contain the full sleep time. It then extends the data calculations to include the new time frame. It usually take a few minutes for it to calculate and display.
For some people like me, it doesn't work perfectly. However, there are simple ways to adjust for it.
Hope this helps and have a Terrific day!

Well, if you think it would make a difference. . . The times were 9:26pm-10:45pm for the nap in the tub, and then I put my fitbit back on after I got out of the bath before I went to bed for the night from 11:04pm till 5:49am. But given the tone of your reply I'm thinking there's nothing you can see to be done to change it so it's added to the sleep log laying right next to it in the timeline instead of adding it to the previous night's which gives the illusion of having hit my marks on a day I haven't, and not on a day I have creating confusion when I'm trying to correct a problem. Thanks for trying to address my concern.

The problem with extending into a time where sleep has been logged automatically though is then you lose sleep data, the graph changes back to the old one without the sleep stages, and that's valuable information for me.
