Hi,
I got the FitBit Alta HR, and it's simply everything I wanted from a activity tracker/watch
But, when I try to use the android app on my Galaxy Note 3 phone, the heart rate won't show up in realtime, why is this?

I also have the Galaxy Note 8, and it has no problems showing the heart rate in realtime when in use.

Never mind, after fiddling around in the settings, and finding my way into "Notification access" and turning it on for Fitbit, it seemed to be working
