Heart rate zones not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My previous post about this has disappeared and got lost in amongst all the other complaints.

Can anyone at Fitbit tell me when this issue will be fixed please? Worked for years, now been broken for weeks (since 2 or 3 updates ago).

The app knows this info because it shows the zones in the graph so why is the overall data not simply populated below like it was before?

Hi, @Linz16, welcome, I'm not replicating your experience so I conclude this may be specific to your setup. You do not mention what steps you have already taken. The usual first step is to delete & reload the Fitbit app on your phone. The belt & braces process is as follows. Sync your Fitbit app on the phone, Go to your phone settings>Apps>Fitbit>force stop>clear cache & storage>uninstall. Go to connected devices & forget your Fitbit device. RESTART YOUR PHONE. Go to the Play store & reload the Fitbit app & log in again. Ensure the LEDs on the back of your Fitbit device (you do not mention which one you are using) are flashing. Wear overnight & look for the HR in the morning. Please post here again & let us know how you get on.

PS I'm not at "Fitbit" but a community volunteer.

Cheers

Hi

Thanks, I appreciate your help but I've already tried all this several times with no success.

My device is Charge 2, which Fitbit will say is a 'legacy device', however there are other users with more modern devices that are having the same issue.

I read somewhere that Fitbit are 'aware of the issue and it will be fixed in a future release', but I can't now find that.

I also asked the question if I upgrade my device (which is what they seem to want me to do, despite no issues at all with the performance of my C2) can they guarantee that all the features which no longer work on the app will work OK? They were unfortunately unable to answer that, so  I am stuck at the moment!

I have the same issue, no information for the heart rate zone. Each time I tap anything to do with heart rate the app crashes. I even bought a new inspire three I thought it was my old Fitbit, which is frankly making me quite angry that it’s the same problem.  I communicated this a couple of months ago with Tech did all of the things listed above, turning it off and on deleting restarting, etc. they said they were going to escalate the report to a higher level of care and we are still without it. the  iOS app heart rate zones bar graph for activities/exercise periods. I found it extremely helpful for my training. I’m about to move to another exercise tracking company. I saw this issue first reported six months ago.
