Pixel Watch not tracking sleep and heartbeat

Hi, I have a Pixel watch 1 and a Pixel 8a phone and I'm facing the problem
That my watch doesn't read sleep at all, which I just haven't done, and it's not only about syncing, but also about recording in the FitBit app on the watch itself, I also don't record heart rate data, although everything is shown in the widget for the last two hours and there is data on the screen in the widget too
FitBit version on the watch: 3.27.0.713047847
FitBit version on the phone: 4.31.1
WearOS version watch: 5.0 last update 5 November 2024 year.
Setting up light sleep in FitBit, I also put and restart before going to bed and changed the other hand and reset, maybe there is an idea

Hello @yafoxin

My apologies if I'm misreading your post. It looks like you're not getting any sleep tracking and you're also not seeing heart rate tracking. Is that correct?

Please let us know if you're seeing a green light on the back of your Pixel Watch. The green light is the heart rate sensor and is needed for sleep tracking.

If you don't see a green light, some users have reported that doing a factory data reset on their Pixel Watch restored the green light/heart rate sensor. This might be worth a try. This Pixel Watch help page (<-- click link) has the instructions on how to do a factory data reset.

Please be aware that doing the reset will erase the data on your Pixel Watch. So, it's recommended to do a sync with the Fitbit app first. Also, you should check to see if you have a backup of your watch that you can use when you set up your watch after the factory reset. The backup makes it a lot easier to setup your watch after the factory reset.

Hi, you've understood everything correctly. The problem is that I don't see the data, neither on the watch app nor on my phone, which is logical.
The problem is that the green light is there and the sensor is working, as I have a card with my heart rate for the last two hours. I've also reset the watch and reinstalled the app. This seems to be a widespread issue

I follow all the recommendations, the clock is 2-3 fingers away from the stock, I've wiped the gauge, what ever else I've done.

Hello @yafoxin

Since you're now seeing the green light and are getting heart rate tracking, I'm not sure what other troubleshooting steps to suggest.

Please submit this issue in both the Fitbit app and the Pixel Watch app using the Feedback option in both apps.

  • Tap on your picture in the upper right of the app and select Feedback in the menu that opens
  • Complete the prompts and submit

Although it's likely that you won't receive a reply, the team receives & reviews the feedback reports.
