In my phone's bluetooth settings, it shows my Versa as 'Paired' but the watch says I need to pair my phone. I have no idea what to do. I've exhausted all options I could find online.

Fitbits are unusual in that the pairing needs to be done via the fitbit app rather than via the phone's bluetooth settings. Have you been through the setup process documented at: Help article: How do I set up my tracker?

Just got the Versa2 used app to set up put in the code but everytime I try and do anything like change watch face or install apps get told watch not connected
