Hey guys. I've only had my fitbit Charge for about a week and I'm still learning the app for my Samsung Galaxy s5. I changed my steps per day goal and now I can't remember how to change it back. Any help would be great. TIA

The help article How do I track my fitness goals with Fitbit? has all the details for changing your goals. Here are the basics for the Android app.

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the menu icon in the top left corner.
  2. Tap Account.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Scroll to the Goals section.
  5. Tap the goal you want to view or adjust.
  6. Tap the individual element of the goal and follow the onscreen instructions to adjust it.

I'm going to move this thread over to the Android App section of the help forums so that others looking for the same information will find it easier to locate.

Hope this helps!

Not sure if this was written before interface changes, but it didn't work for me - no menu choice on computer or phone app.

For me the following worked:

To view and change daily and weekly goals - browser dashboard

  1. On browser dashboard on my computer, go to the 2nd area down from the top on the left (title is Today) - that displays your progress to your daily goals.
  2. Mouse over that section and a menu bar appears at the bottom.
  3. Click the gear icon on the left.
  4. Chose your daily / weekly goals to both enable them, and set their distance/ time/ etc.
  5. Click Done when completed to save your changes.

My apologies.

I did a general search to get here and missed that this was for Androids.

My apologies.

Hey my friend @Silvercode, just to be clear... Did @SebringDon' steps work? Were you able to change your goals?

I wasn't able to use his instructions because I didn't see that his post
was in the Android thread.
I'm using an iPhone and the browser verison in Windows.
The steps I posted are for the browser.

Gotcha @Silvercode, but here are the steps for iOS:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account tab.
  2. Scroll to the Goals section.
  3. Tap the goal you want to view or adjust.
  4. Tap the individual element of the goal and follow the onscreen instructions to adjust it.

I thought about moving your posts to the iOS board, but moving it to a new thread wouldn't make any sense since you're replying to @Jesgalitworks's question too as you were having the same trouble lol.

Thanks for helping out!
