When changing updating android T-mobile phones, I downloaded Fitbit app on new phone and when trying to snyc new phone with my Charge 3 Fitbit, only way it would allow me to setup was to use the New Device feature.  Once it snyced with the online Fitbit softwared, all my old historical data was lost.  It happened this week 8-27-19.  Is there anyway to reset historical data on the server to an older data rather than current sync?  Please help!!!

Hi @Brenau

You set up using your original account? History is stored on the Fitbit servers and should be there. Have you checked since you posted ?

This same thing just happened to me.  I have had a Fitbit account since 2018.  When I changed the password to my account, the account considered me a new user and I lost all of my historical data. Try account now says Member since March 28, 2023.  Is there any way to get all of my data back?

I am having the same problem as the OP up there.  I change the password on my account and lost all of my historical data.  It is gone.  Same account email, changed password now all of my data is gone.  Is there anyway to get it back?
