Hourly activity feature - new?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just noticed the Hourly Activity feature - I don't know if it's been there all along and I just haven't noticed it, or if it's new.

Is this customizable? That is, can I change the number of steps per hour it recommends (defaults to 250)? And is there any kind of prompt or reminder or notification? That is, if I'm getting near the end of an hour can my device (Charge HR) prompt me that the hour is almost up and I haven't hit my hourly goal yet?

I agree completely! As do everyone of my friends who are wearing charge HR !! Seems crazy that it's there but doesn't do anything to notify you

Seems fruitless to have this on my HR if it's not going to prompt me to move.

I am enjoying the Hourly Activity.  Would like to customize the goals - by hour... (my job is sedentary so 250 is a challenge.  Need to move more (sitting is the new smoking).  But afterwork, I need to rock a higher goal. AND... I have not been able to see the Hourly Activity tile on my android phone.  I do not have any "hidden" tiles/bottom-

Finally this person had answered my question. The Charger hr can remind me to move. I have been searching these and reading them for an hour. There has to be an easier way to get info

I am not finding it! Where do I go to set the reminder to move every hour on my charger hr?

Another vote/request to add the hourly activity reminder to the charge hr. Thanks!!

I would also like to vote for prompts added to the fitbit Charge HR! would make it much easier to meet the goal!

Yep come on Fitbit - get the reminder prompt in for the charge HR ; this feature is pretty pointless without it.

@pinchetpooche @Rob_WF @Shorty_88 @Kathybres @txtss @Pokeyone @goks @Gatesy If you'd like to see the Reminders to Move on the Surge or Charge HR, I recommend voting for this existing idea in our Feature Requests board. The more votes the idea gets the more likely it is to be considered for implementation in future releases.

@Pokeyone The Charge HR does not currently have Reminders to Move on the tracker itself. Charge HR does support the Hourly Activity Goal via the app.

@Elianora Can you confirm that you're not receiving dots for your Hourly Activity Goal on the Fitbit.com online Dashboard?

@Jksneddon @JaneDKC I suggest searching our Feature Request board for existing ideas or create a new idea and also vote for it. The more votes, the more likely to be considered for implementation in the future.

@fitknap The Hourly Activity Goal is only available for trackers with auto-sleep tracking, which is why the One does not support it.

They probably don't want their old models to become good or else why would you buy their new one and throw your current in the landfill?  Obviosly they want to make you get the new one so they can make it obselete in a year with some other minor addition.

@LadyofK A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community and thanks for joining us! Thanks for your feedback regarding our Fitbit products. As technology advances, our products are being added with new features. However, for older models, requests have been made by users and reviewed by our engineering team. For this, we have the "Feature Requests" board, where you can submit your suggestion and will be reviewed by our developers for consideration. I invite you to visit this board where you can also vote for suggestions that you consider great.

Just got the blaze and was wondering if it notifies you to walk when the hours almost up? The goal is set per hour and I read that reminders are being worked into the blaze though I haven't been reminded?

Is there any way that the surge can have the reminder notifications? Its your "top of the line watch" and looks like the blaze does far more??? Please request that the surge gets this feature also. Thank you

I would like to see it as well!

@Grace27 Thanks for joining us in this thread and it's great to see you in the Community @SunsetRunner! Regarding your inquiries, Fitbit trackers don't have an option to change the number of steps for the hourly reminders to move. However, you can go ahead and vote for this Feature Suggestion that requests the same feature you are suggesting.

As mentioned above, many votes will increase the chance for this feature to be reviewed.
