Yeah right! No wonder their stock dropped this year!! I just bought the flex 2 Wednesday night and realized I can't "end" my day when I want to (i.e. there's no option to end the day, you're forced to have a 14 hour day and you're forced to end your day at 12am). This is ridiculous. I've been researching this for the last hour and people in these forums have been asking for updates to fix this issue since 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obvi they couldn't care less about the consumer... it should've be that hard to program. Every food logging app I've EVER used (since like 2006!!) allows the users to end their day when they want to... even if it's technically Friday morning for ex you can end your "Thursday" at 3am, etc. I mean what's the point!?!? I bought this to keep an ACCURATE record of calories in and out. Your day ends when you go to sleep and begins when you wake up.
You're exactly right "if they cared"
this is isn't that difficulty. Every food tracking app I've ever used allows you to end your "day" at any time. I'm so disappointed. Such a waste of time and money. I shouldn't have to set it to a different time zone. This shouldn't even be an issue!!!
I see there has been several posts about this but no care from fitbit yet.
Will there soon be an update for those of us that work late evening or nights? Having it reset at midnight is frustrating when you work 22.00 to 06.00. And no, I do noy want to change the timezone because i use it as a watch also.
It's really frustrating that an activity app limits night shift workers with the time settings.. I want to be able to set my activity for my lifestyle and since parts of the app let me do that, there's no reason the rest shouldn't. When will this be fixed???
The really stupid funny part is their support says it's under consideration and sends people to this forum post, why would that be underconsideration either fix your app so it does what you advertise or go bankrupt and another company will do it, it's a really simple fix and if their too brain dead to fix the code to not be limited time frames then they can at least add a second reminder time frame ability and then that would at least be a work around until they learned to code properly, I say this because it's really not that hard either option as I'm in the IT business and a programmer I'd know.
I have a FitBit Alta. I don't want to be wasteful and throw it away or get rid of it. I work night shift but it is disappointing that the hour setting says to set it for x amount of hours but when I do it does not count my x amount of hours because my x amount of hours start at 9 pm and ends at 11 am. It should be a simple fix I would think where in the app part Fitbit can allow customers to make it customizable goals. @Fitbit listen already and fix already. We want our fitness goals to matter too. #AllFitnessGoalsMatter
Almost 2019 and Fitbit still doesn't get it... Smh
