Hours Slept Graph not Updating

On Android 11, the Hours Slept and Sleep Stages graph panels are not updating with new bars unless you expand the graph and then collapse it. It does not matter how long I wait for it to refresh or how many times I go into the Sleep tile, etc.

@ChasPro716 Hi there. Thank you for the troubleshooting tried prior to posting.

Try the following steps:

- Log out from the Fitbit app
- Clear cache
- Restart your phone
- Log back in

Hope this helps.

Those steps do not solve the problem. Of course, the first sync after clearing the cache does display the data correctly, but the next day, the new data isn't displayed ... as described in the original post.

@ChasPro716 Thank you for getting back.

Please attach a screenshot of what you're seeing in your sleep graphs, and let me know the phone model that you have.

See you around.

If I had captured the images before clearing cache, etc. it would have shown 4 days of missing bars.

@SilviaFitbit ... Still broken many months later. Please escalate to the dev team?

Actually... I have upgraded to a Pixel 6 and it's still broken ... No amount of cache clearing or reinstalling is going to solve the problem across multiple phones.  It's possibly a Pixel platform or latest Android issue.

@LizzyFitbit ... You seem responsive to other threads ... Can you review this one to see if we can get some help on it? It's been a year with no change in behavior. Thanks!

Hi there, @ChasPro716.

Thanks for the details and screenshots provided. I'm sorry you're still having this issue with the Fitbit app and appreciate your efforts while working on this matter. In your previous post you mentioned to have a Pixel 6, do you still have this phone? If that's correct, may I know the OS version running on your phone? Is the Fitbit app updated to the latest version? I understand you attached some screenshots before, but could you take a new screenshot showing the missing bars and attach it in your reply? Please provide me with these details as this will help me to investigate on my end.

The latest Android 12 updates for Pixel 6 have been applied (Build #SP2A.220405.004 ), and the app as well.

This has been a problem across two different Pixel phones at different OS levels, so it is something fundamental on Pixel platforms or the Google Android release. Unless some corrupt data was transferred between the two phones or something to do with my account.

Hi there, @ChasPro716.

Thanks for the details and screenshots provided. I understand your point of view and I'm sorry this has been a recurrent issue on both of your phones. I wanted to let you know that I've reported this to our team so they can look into this situation, and work on the performance of the Fitbit app.

In the meantime, we recommend keeping the Fitbit app updated as you've done so far so your data can sync correctly. I appreciate your continued feedback and we'll keep working to improve our services, as well as the overall Fitbit experience.
