When i got my fit bit the writing in it was oriental letters! How do I make them american

When you first connect a new fitbit, isn't the first question to select your language?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your Fitbit.

Please, to change the language on your Fitbit device follow the instructions below:

If you sign in with your Google Account:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Fitbit settings > App settings.
  2. Turn off the option to automatically detect your country.
  3. Choose your country, then sync your device.
  4. Follow the instructions to update your device to use the language you selected.

If you sign in with your Fitbit login

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap Settings > App Settings.
  2. Turn off the option to automatically detect your country.
  3. Choose your country, then sync your device.
  4. Follow the instructions to update your device to use the language you selected.

Note that your Fitbit device uses the same language that you use for your Fitbit account.
