How do I correct nutritional info from barcode scan?

I really want to love the fitbit food logging portion of the app because I want to have all in one, but the incorrect nutritional info is very frustrating. Is there a way to correct this or submit to customer support?

@NatRat11 A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for getting in touch about this.

I see where your frustration is coming from. Please follow these steps to adjust the scanned food:

  1. From the Today tab

, tap the icon on the food tile

  2. On Android phones (OS 6.0+), make sure you allow the Fitbit app to access requested features on your phone. For more information, see What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?
  3. Tap the barcode icon and place your item's entire barcode in the scanning area. If your item is in our database, you'll see a summary. Otherwise, you'll see the option to submit it.
  4. Adjust the quantity and save.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

How does just scanning the item that come up with incorrect calorie amounts/nutritional info when SCANNED fix the problem? We need to be able to edit the info that comes up, or submit a photo of the nutritional panel to you guys so you can fix the errors. I’m tired of “getting close” by fiddling with the serving size

How can we fix the incorrect info when we scan or enter in food item that are in the database? I’m tired of just getting close by fiddling with serving sizes, as if figuring out those aren’t difficult enough
