I get tons of email during the day and I don't want to see those notifications on my watch. How do I turn off gmail notifications?

In the Android app, tap the icon of your Ionic in the upper right corner.

Scroll down to the General section and choose Notifications.

Tap Emails and then toggle the selector next to On.

I am trying to remove email notification on my VersaLite.  I have turned the notifications off but the emails are still coming through.  Is there something else I can do discontinue receiving email notifications?
