How do you enable music controls on an Android, while using Apple Music?

Hey y'all, I've seen many questions pertaining the Music controls issue with phones not connecting with Bluetooth, but I can't find a question similar to what I have going on.

I have a Versa 2, Android Galaxy S20 FE, and I use Apple Music on my andriod. Everything seems set up correctly on the fitbit app, my phone says it's paired with the versa, but it never says it's actively connected. "An app is needed to use this device", is what I see in my phone settings whenever I tap on the Versa 2. On my old iPhone, whenever music was playing on my phone, I would be able to control it immediately with the Versa, but now with the andriod, I have yet to be able to do that. The fitbit app itself has all available permissions enabled, but I'm still stumped.

I've never seen my phone actively connected to the versa no matter what I do, and the music controls on the versa always says "Connect Phone. Pair your phone in your settings app, under Bluetooth"

I'm stumped, I really want to use music controls again properly.

If your watch is not actively paired and linked with the Fitbit App on the phone you won't be able to use your watch to control music.

You can check

In the phone Fitbit App
