How do you trim an activity route in the map

I'm sure this has been asked and answered countless times before. Not sure of the correct search terms for the answer yet.

I have occasionally forgotten to stop recording a bike ride. I just want to be able to access the map and trim it. Is this possible on the android app? I'd not how do I request a feature update to the developers?

Hi @Nfcbr to edit a post, tap the down arrow found to the right of your name. 

To edit an event, tap the pencil. You will need to know the finish time.

Thanks I did find that. I'm concerned that it doesn't let me trim segments from the map. Updating the elapsed time didn't remove the extra travel I did by car after my ride.

How do I remove parts of the GPS location tracking which were recorded in error?
