How is it helpful to have Discover shown 2X all times of new 3.4 app

Exactly how is it helpful to have Discover twice on the new 3.4 version of the app? Big "Discover" button shown at all times, can't edit it out. Lower left Discover icon button that is always shown in bottom menu.

 

Exactly how many times is a user going to use Discover? ONCE! There's never a need to go back. No one ever needs to see a list of useless crap again.

 

So TWO Discover buttons have to be shown at all times for a useless feature used only once?  This is helpful?

@Unhappy6,  I assume that this is because they are imminently going to start pushing the fitbit premium pay for more information service and any other thing they can try and get away with charging for. I can't wait to read what sort of fiasco that ends up as, especially as it seems most of the time none of the ordinary stuff works.

Presumably if you don't subscribe you get a firmware update of the charge 2 type.
