How to TRIGGER manually the update on the fitbit app for a child google account which has graduated?

I've spent all this time waiting for the Fitbit app to send me a notification to "update" my 2x children graduated Google Accounts - this is painfully long ... is there not a way to TRIGGER it manually or force the CHECK for graduation? Can I not re-install the application or do something from the the cloud? Some way to kick-off the process instead of simply waiting for hours ...?
