How to add friends?

I'm trying to add friends but I clicked no when asked about Facebook friends list and now I can't connect to anyone as it can't find contacts and I don't know how to go back and allow permission??

Hello @Vickip74, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! 

 

You can choose to add friends, up to a maximum of 2000, by one of the following methods:

 

  • Contacts—See your contacts who have Fitbit accounts and those who don't. Invite anyone to be a Fitbit friend.
  • Facebook—If you choose to connect your Fitbit and Facebook accounts, see your friends who also have Fitbit accounts linked to Facebook. Invite anyone to be a Fitbit friend. 
  • Email—Type in the email address of anyone to want to invite to Fitbit.

If you ignore the option to connect with your Facebook account, rest assure you can resolve this by connecting your accounts. Just go to your Community tab > switch to Friends in the top bar menu > and tap the circle in the lower right corner of the screen to add friends > here you'll see your friends from your contact list who has email address.

Here you can also choose in the top of the menu the option to select your friends from Facebook. If your accounts are not connected please follow the instruction to Connect your Facebook.
