How to change fitbit language without changing phone language?

Normally my fitbit is in English but after some recent update this no longer is the case. Fitbit official docs say to change language you have to change the entire phone language, that is just bullcrap. Is there any way around this?

I appreciate your message regarding the language change on your Fitbit device.
