How to connect to message+

I have the droid turbo 2 and I was wondering how to connect the flex 2 to my messages app. The little intro thing told me that it can do a silent notification when I get a text?? It connected instantly with my mom's iPhone messanger. How do I connect it to mine?

I'd like to help you get the notifications working on your Fitbit Flex 2. To set them up, please follow these steps:

1. Open the app and go to the  Account tab, then tap your tracker's name near the top of the screen. You'll see a list of tracker settings.
2. Select 'Notifications'
3. Check the box for Fitbit Notification Service and tap OK. 
4. Confirm which apps should send notifications to your tracker. Keep in mind that the Flex 2 can only handle text and call notifications.
5. Now sync your tracker and the notifications should start working.
