How to correct Charge 4's timezone?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since I received my Fitbit Charge 4 for Christmas, the time has been an hour ahead. (Ex... If it's 7:00am, it says 8:00am) Even after syncing it, daily, it refuses to change to the correct time. How do I change the time on my fitbit charge 4???

@ChefRy Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for the troubleshooting tried.

The time on your Fitbit device may be wrong after you travel to a different time zone or when clocks change for Daylight Savings. Please double check that the timezone is properly set in your Fitbit app by doing the following:

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab

     > your profile picture > Advanced Settings.
  2. Turn off the Automatic time zone option.
  3. Tap Select time zone and select the correct time zone.
  4. Sync your Fitbit device.

Hope this helps.

Hello, I'm having the same issue. The time is stuck 1 hour ahead. I have tried changing the time zone from auto to the correct zone and it does not fix the issue. I have tried unpairing, repairing, and resyncing and it does not work.

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

I appreciate the troubleshooting performed prior to posting. If the timezone is still stuck, let's try restarting your Charge 4 and continue monitoring its functionality.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.  Did not think I would find an answer to this issue.  Went from Central to Eastern, my Versa 2 sync & showed the correct Eastern time.  but I could not sync it back to Central time.  Now I know.  Thanks again for the answer.

Hi I’ve done everything suggested here and nothing will work. I was on the east coast for a week and while there, my Charge 4 died and I did not have my charger. I came back to Arizona, charged it, and it was still on east coast time. As I said, I tried everything listed here and even a few other things. I logged a workout thinking if it could track my location during the exercise, maybe it would snap to the correct time zone. This did not work and my location was correctly logged for the exercise. Please help!
