How to enable the Swimming feature

I bought the Fitbit Flex 2 specifically to track swimming and also sleep but can't see how to find the trackers on the app.  The dashboard only gives running/walking, calories, food and water and so how do I access other trackers please?  I feel very frustrated at not being able to get started.

Hello @Pixipatzi, it's nice to have you here in the Fitbit Community. It sounds like you need to pair your tracker. I looked into your Community profile page and it doesn't show any tracker paired neither.

Since you have created an account already, On your app, tap on the Account option right in the right upper corner of the screen. Then you will the option to set up a device.

In the the next screen, select "Add a new device" and proceed to follow the onscreen instructions to pair your Flex. Just make sure you are using a Compatible device to enjoy all the features of your tracker. To see the latest list of supported devices, please go to http://www.fitbit.com/devices.

Keep me posted how it goes. I'll be around!

Thank you. I've tried to do this over and over again, but without any success. I sometimes get as far as "We've found your device" after searching for a long time, and then it attempts to connect for a long time but without success. Bluetooth is turned on and the tracker is fully charged - in fact, it's still in the charger. Sometimes it prompts me to turn Bluetooth off and on, but nothing seems to work. I'm very disappointed and am finding it very frustrating as I'm currently training for an event and really do need to track my progress as well as my sleep. I can't find any way to access the tiles for either swimming or sleeping and the tiles that are visible, apart from the calorie tracker don't appear to be working either. I walked for miles one day and nothing registered. I would be most grateful for your further assistance in getting my lovely Fitbit up and running.

Many thanks
Pixipatzi

I have found that it's impossible to pair my Fitbit Flex 2 with my phone as my new Huawai P9 Lite is unsupported.   I have had to pair it with my iPad, which is most unsatisfactory as I don't want to have to carry such a large item about with me.  When is Fitbit going to do something about Android support for what appears to be a whole host of phones?  I feel angry about this as the box it came in gives no warning about the fact that it cannot be paired with many  phones.  Additionally, none of the reviews I read before making my purchase mention this.  I should be interested to receive your reply.

Hello @Pixipatzi, thank you for keep me posted. I see you are trying to use a P9 phone. Indeed this phones are not listed as compatible. The difficult part with Android is there are many devices that use Android OS, but some technical specs always change depending of the brand. In some scenarios it may use a custom layer of the Android OS as the Sony devices.

So despite many Android devices may have all the requirements to sync, due to this variations not all are able to support the Fitbit tracker or the app features. Such is the case of the P9 which is a device that we have received requests for its compatibility.

In this case it may require additional testing from our teams to guarantee it will work flawlessly. However we don't have an specific date of when are going to be compatible or if is going to be compatible. I can understand you are feeling angry, but  we've been eager to get support out as quickly as possible.

To see the latest list of supported devices, please go to http://www.fitbit.com/devices. If your device isn't listed yet, you can check the link at a later date to see if device support has been added.

Thank you for your feedback and for any additional question you can find me here!

That really doesn't help me. My question is: why is there no warning on the packaging or on the website to the effect that the device may be incapable of pairing with certain phones? My phone is a new one (purchased by me and not therefore exchangeable for a different one).and I certainly have no intention of disposing of it and spending hundreds of pounds on a compatible one simply in order to use the Fitbit. I feel that I have been sold my Fitbit Flex 2 under false pretences and, had I known that I would not be able to use it with my phone I would have chosen something else. I am very, very disappointed.

I have a question, when was the last time the android list was updated?

Specifically, which device is the most recent to be added to the compatible list. It seems to be very static with no additions for at least the past 6 weeks I've been looking at it.

Fitbit is letting us all down.
