I've been searching an cannot find an answer on the boards.
I do stretching with tension bands twice a day every day but have not been able to find a convenient way to track the exercise. I also do weight training 3 times a week.
The only two methods I found on the boards were 4 plus years old and not much help.
The solutions available to me right now are to download multiple fitness apps which then requires I glue my phone to my person or spend two to three times more for a clunky oversized "watch" that I will never use 2/3s of the features on and will be constantly removing due to the discomfort.
There has to be a better way.

Hi there @JudeeM, nice to see you again! I was wondering which type of tracker are you using, but in other posts I saw you talked about a Charge 2, so I'm assuming you have this tracker. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
In this case considering the tracker you are using and the exercises you are practicing, I'm wondering if you are using the exercise shortcut option from your Charge 2? In this case the best way to track the type of exercise you do, is using this options. Your charge 2 has several exercise options you can select from your Fitbit app.
In your case, for tension bands I would use "Workout" and for weight training, the "Weight" exercise. Note the exercise label will help you to categorized your exercise better, but the stats won't be different regardless of the type of exercise you choose.
- To enable this exercise shortcuts, just go to your app and tap in your tracker's icon.
- Scroll down to the Exercise Shortcut option.
- If you have selected 7 exercises, you will need to remove the one you are not using in order to add more.
- To remove exercises just swipe away the option and will be removed.
- In the right upper corner you will see a "+" icon
- Tap there and select the type of exercise you want.
- Once you have made your selection, sync your tracker to apply the changes
- Now with the exercise loaded in your tracker, press the side button to navigate through the menu items and when you find the exercise, just press and hold the button again to start/stop recording the activity.
Hope this helps and let me know if you have other questions.

@JudeeMTo add to @RobertoME post if you use Workout and you have predefined Manual Activities for the type of your activities you can rename Workout on the App or PC to reflect your activity.
I use Workout for my shopping trolley activity to see what I'm losing.. I have a Fitbit One in my jeans coin pocket which keeps the wrist tracker honest for steps.
