How to re-pair Charge HR after phone factory reset

I had to reset my Android phone and now my Bluetooth on the phone is not finding my Charge HR. How do I re-pair to a device that was paired to my phone before?

Thanks!

Did you download the app?

Pairing is done through the app, not the bluetooth settings on the phone.

Start the app and add a new device.  Wait for the CHR to display the 4 digit number and enter that in the app.

Hi, thanks for your reply! I was going through the app, not bluetooth, but
it's the bluetooth that detects the device, and it doesn't show any.

I did click "Add new device" and it told me that there's already a Charge
HR (though none shows) connected to my account. It asks if I want to
replace it, and I don't, and there's no other option. Will I lose my data
if I say yes, I want to replace it?

Thanks

Sherry,

Your data is wiped from your charge and added to your account every time you sync. If you select replace, you won't lose any previous data that is already in the account. You might lose some unsynced data, but it should be minimal.

OK, thanks! I ended up calling fitbit for support and it turned out I
needed to reset my tracker. It's syncing now. Thanks for your help!

Good to hear!

Just so others can understand the fix:

You held your Charge HR button for ten seconds, at which point it rebooted and the issue of syncing was resolved.

Correct?
