I recently got a new phone (2016 Moto G4) running Android Marshmallow (6.0.1).
I installed the FitBit app and gave it my account login info. The phone connects to my One and it will sync daily steps and stairs climbed. However, it does not give me any notifications on the phone related to daily goals, low battery, etc. even though I believe I have enabled all Android settings that would allow it to display them.
Even worse, it does not properly sync and read in my Exercise information from the linked FitDigits (formerly DigiFit) account. It works every once in awhile, but most days FitBit does not see my exercise like it used to on my old phone. If I log into the FitDigits web site, it does have my daily step information- so the two systems are talking to each other, but FitBit is not pulling in all my exercise data.
Needless to say, this is quite frustrating and makes the app much less useful.
Any advice? Thanks.

@ECoaster thanks for joining the Community! It's great having you around. 🙂 I definitely understand where you're coming from and your feelings are totally valid. Let's go ahead and find explanation to everything! First, you might want to verify that your mobile device is compatible with notifications by clicking here. Please note that notifications are available for Android devices running OS 4.3 or later. Also, in order to receive notifications your Bluetooth must be On (this is in case your mobile device is compatible with notifications).
If your mobile device is not compatible or listed in the link provided above, then most likely that's the reason why your Charge HR isn't syncing steps and exercises. What confuses me is that you said that your One does sync to this device. That's pretty odd.
Please make sure FitDigits is a compatible app with Fitbit by clicking here. But, please keep in mind that when it comes to third party apps, it will be up to them on the information you will be able to export and transfer to Fitbit. If you continue to use Digifit or FitDigits and would like them to export more data than the one it already exports, you can get in touch with them for them to take the suggestion into consideration.
If you are not able to find FitDigits as a compatible app, you can go tot he feature request forums and post your ideas to our devs. I was trying to find a similar or alike suggestion but I was only able to find this one.
I really hope this information helps! Feel free to post back.

Hi- Thanks for your reply. I just need to repeat and clarify the problem I'm having a little bit.
The only tracker I have is a Fitbit One. It worked perfectly on my old phone, which was a 2013 Moto X. That phone is listed as officially supported by Fitbit. Tracker syncing, goal notifications, and importing exercise data with my linked FitDigits account all work perfectly on that phone.
My new phone is a 2016 Moto G4 running Android 6.0.1. This phone does sync with my Fitbit One, but notifications don't work and it does not import exercise data properly from FitDigits. This 2016 Moto G4 phone is not listed as officially supported, but it's a brand new phone that's only been on the market for about a month.
It appears that the FitBit app may need to be looked at because it appears to have compatibility issues with this brand new phone running the latest version of Android.

@ECoaster The Moto G4 has all the hardware requirements (awesome looking phone) to be a supported device but is currently not on our list of supported devices. This, as mentioned earlier by @MariamV, means that our Android team has not yet tested it for compatibility and added it to the list. If the device supports BLE (AKA Bluetooth 4.0), I recommend giving the setup flow a try.
If that does not work, I suggest setting up and syncing via a device listed as supported or using a computer. Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates!
As for importing data from your FitDigits, that has nothing to do with the mobile device but more to do with the FitDigits application integration with Fitbit. I recommend going into your "Applications" menu and clicking on "Revoke Access." Once you've revoked access, setup the integration once again using these instructions from FitDigit. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the clarification about a few things.
Based on my experience, I can say that the 2016 Moto G4 phone does work and sync with the Fitbit One tracker. However, notifications are not working right now on this phone.
I used my PC to sync with this tracker, and it is still not properly importing all of the exercise sessions from FitDigits. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the accounts but that didn't solve the problem. Apparently, there is currently some problem in the link between Fitbit and FitDigits accounts. I will consider posting separately with this issue in the other appropriate subforum.

@ECoaster thanks for the update. Have you contacted FitDigits about it? Why don't you try one more time the steps @ErickFitbit posted above? That might to the trick!
Just like Erick mentioned above as well, the discrepancies you have with your 2016 Moto G4 could be because our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list. It could be that this device is being tested right now. However, I also encourage you to keep an eye open for updates in the list of compatible devices!

Here is the latest update on the Fitbit / Moto G4 Situation:
1. After a couple recent Google component and Fitbit App updates, notifications are working on the Moto G4.
2. The FitDigits exercise sync also appears to be working now. When I logged into the FitDigits web site, the accounts were clearly linked properly according to that site. However, when I went to the "Health Partners" menu option in the FitDigits / iCardio Android app, it did not have any indication of a link to my FitBit account. I established the link in the app, and now it seems to be sending the exercise data to FitBit. Thus, there is apparently some wierdness happening on the FitDigits end with the account linking where the App doesn't know the accounts are already linked via the web interface- and this is apparently important.

Hey, @ECoaster! It is nice to see you around. Thanks for letting us know that your notifications are working as they should now.
Regarding the FitDigits connection with the Fitbit App, looks like this App has not been tested and added to the Official compatible Apps page, this is why it might not be working to the fullest, I recommend you to request for it to be totally compatible so go ahead and post the suggestion!
See you around.

Which Google component updates did you perform? I have the same phone and a Charge HR and am not getting call notifications (they worked fine with my old Samsung Avant). I have tried all of the troubleshooting steps and miss this feature as I am frequently missing calls now. Thank you.
