My son's phone is too junky to handle the FitBit app. Can I track his Charge 3 and mine on my Samsung Galaxy 9?

Yes, but ...
Each user needs a separate account so it would require frequently logging out of one account and into the other within the Fitbit app.

This doesn't answer the question of how to use two Fitbit devices on a single phone. I own two fitbits...one versa and one versa 2. To swap between the two, i have to reconnect with the app every time I swap watches.

You do have the answer to your question there. I certainly do understand that answer does not please you, but unfortunately there's the way it is, at least for now.

I suppose it is "an" answer, but most certainly not the best answer. I did find what I was looking for, but not here. For anybody else who is having this issue, it appears that selecting MobileTrack is a more useful answer.
Thank you for your time.
