Http 500 Error during Set Up

Ive been trying for 5 days to add a previously used fitbit blaze device to a new account. The blaze was deactivated 5 days ago, removed from the previous owners blue tooth etc. It gets to the 4 digit code to input and after I've done this I'm getting the 500 error. Anyone have any advice, I've tried restarting my phone, (Samsung 7) deleting and reinstalling the fitbit app, turning the blaze on and off etc...  Is there a time period that I have to wait because of the previous account?

Welcome to the Forums @Louisehughes.

Thanks for sharing those details and the steps that you tried to get it to work.

This doesn't refer to any time that you have to wait, in fact here is no such thing. In this case I'd recommend that you try different internet connections. If you are using WiFi, please try to use a different connection or the data plan on your phone, if any.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
