Huawei P10 lite & Charge HR finally working!

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I originally had the P8 Lite, and I liked the phone, it did not give me too many issues. I got my Fitbit Charge HR and all was working for a while. It synced with my phone and my notifications came through.

After a certain update, everything just died and I kept getting the same response, that the P8 Lite is not supported due to hardware issues. Now I do software development as well, and if something worked before it can work.I eventually upgraded to the P10 Lite and to my lovely surprise Fitbit app did not work on that either. Then I heard once again it is not supported. Alas, I waited until the mythical update finally came out.

A few days back it finally came out, now my notifications are working perfectly. Syncing is working, everything is working! It is working so well that I am actually loving my device again.

Thank you for finally fixing the issue.

Hello @Heinz09.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences on the matter.

It is important to mention that the Huawei P10 is not currently a supported device. Even if it is working at the time, it is possible that it could experience some issues.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Welcome to the Forums @Bell89.

As you can see on the supported devices list, the P10 is not supported at this time.

Having said that, as long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing and these help for the notifications.

If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

A colleague has found something that seems like it is getting it to work.

Look for Sync Fix for Fitbit and Huawei/Honor phones by czandor. Follow the instructions of the app, since following that it seems like everything is working smoothly.

Hello @Heinz09.

Thanks for sharing those details with everyone! I'm sure other users will appreciate it.

I would like to mention that the app being mentioned is not developed by Fitbit in any way and thus we cannot guarantee that it will work, or how safe it is. Please be careful when using it and if you find it does help, that is fantastic.
