Huawei P20 Lite, notifications not working on Flex 2

I recently changed my phone from LG G5 to a Huawei P20 Lite, I was so exited and just noticed that the notifications are not working. Restarted phone, Flex 2. Unpaired and paired again and nothing. This is the message: "Notifications service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker" Any suggestion?

This could be happening happening because the Huawei P20 lite is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps for the notifications.
