Can you guarantee this?

Generally Huawei doesn't work at all with fitbit, even if for some people (without any apparent reason) it does...

likely is because the processor is kirin. that why fitbit till now not able to sync.

This sucks. I just purchased the Huawei SE and was starting to get annoyed as to why the fitbit app wouldn't detect my flex 2.

So none of their phones work with fitbit? what a shame.

Upgraded my phone to Huawei p10 lite and my fit bit won't sync. My previous phone was a huawei also...

Are there any good devices that are compatible with these phones?

maybe your previous phone processor able to sync. new huawei phones mostly using Kirin processor. hence not able to sync.

Could you go in Greater detail? What's the deal with Kirin processors and Bluetooth?

My flex 2 started working on my Mate SE 2 days ago. I adjusted some settings within the fitbit app and all of a sudden it syncs. I don't think it's the processor in this case. The syncs aren't consistent however.

Click on the device within the fitbit app and scroll down to "Help" and enable "Always connected" and "keep-alive widget".

The device doesn't show in my Bluetooth but it works.

When I found out that Pebble was absorbed by Fitbit, I was really sad because I knew the best smartwatch ever was about to be discontinued. However, when I noticed about Versa, I was hoping to find a reloaded version of the failed Pebble Time 2. Now that I finally got it, I'm frustrated as I found out about a "supported devices" list which was a taboo when Pebble was running. It was Android or iOS, as simple as that.

With the same effort by which I was able to buy my Versa, I got a Huawei P20 Lite, where my frustrations are as well.

How it is possible that a bigger and supposedly more technologically advanced than Pebble (a start-up), hasn't been able to figure out an app that may keep up to date and working with a wide variety of Android devices (not only Samsung)? My biggest surprise is finding out that Fitbit has no idea on when this situation will be solved.

I tried everything on the Syncing troubleshooting. It only works for a few minutes when reinstalling the app and setting up my Versa. And what's the actual point on just syncing with a PC? I can't even check the weather. It just gives me time, steps and calories.

Long live Pebble.

Youre not wrong !

If you look at the compatibility chart for Android there are so many old phones.

To fitbit i think they assume everyone uses either Samsung or Apple.

They need to get with the times and like you said improve compatibility big time.

Otherwise theyre going to end up going the way of the Dodo.

I have just upgraded to the versa and also changed my phone to the Huawei p20 lite, I have the same sync problems and I am begining to wonder what was the point in shelling out for the versa. when I can't use it as I wanted. Rang Fitbit and they were no help at all. Feeling very frustrated..😤

I did some research a few weeks ago with my mother as she go the Huawei P8 Lite? And she learnt that Fitbit basically doesn't work with any Huawei at all, and it's the same with the P20 Lite and I'm gonna guess the same for the P20 and P20 Pro 😔 sad times..

Sad to read this! I just got a fitbit flex2 and a few days later, I got a Huawei P20 Lite... Unfortunately it doesn't sync so easily, I have to sync manually... What can we do? My fitbit is new, so my phone...

Best Answer

It is really disappointing, can I ask how you sync it manually? I don't know how you mean.

Try this: read the last three posts here and make sure Fitbit app is manually managed: https://www.google.com/amp/s/forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/help/disa-huawei-protect-apps-t3715759...
