Hello @OlieRoms, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! the mobile device you brought to my attention has all the hardware requirements to be a supported, but is currently not on our list of supported devices. This means that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet. If the device supports BLE. While many Android devices have a Bluetooth capabilities, not all devices are able to be accessed by apps like the Fitbit App. Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates!
To see the latest list of supported devices, please go to http://www.fitbit.com/devices.
I've seen in your Community profile you have a Charge 2 as a paired device, so I'm wondering if you were able to follow the set up process with a compatible device?.
I appreciate your understanding while we work to improve the Fitbit experience. See you around!

Best AnswerI bought an alta hr yesterday. I read some people with p9 lite solved the problem but mine still can't sync. I always have to sync with my ipad and then open the app with my p9 lite. I hope this problem will be fixed soon because I can't use the notifications function for my phone now.

Hello @BelgianMonster, good to see you are visiting the Fitbit Community. The P9 Lite has all the hardware requirements to be a supported device but is currently not on our list of supported devices.
This means that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet. If the device supports BLE (AKA Bluetooth 4.0) I recommend giving the following post a try.
When a device is not listed as compatible we cannot guarantee what would be the behavior of the phone in relation to the app and tracker. But it does not mean it wont work at all. To give you an example, I too have a phone that is not compatible and yet I'm able to use all the features although sometimes refuse to sync but eventually it works on its own.
See you soon and for more updates stay tuned to the Fitbit Community!

Best AnswerGuys,
So I managed to at least synchronize my Fitbit with my friend's phone Huawei 8. This also upgraded the wearable itself. When I left for work with my Fitbit on, it actually synched with my mobile Huawei P9 lite several times on the way and at work - 2 times automatically, several times by forcing the synch. I am at home now, my friend is gone and the synch does not work again. This is really bizarre, is there something in my flat causing the problems with sync?
Update: I have noticed that my Charge 2 synchs with my Huawei P9 Lite but it seems that both devices have to be close to each other. The situations when they synch:
1) I ride my bike to work (50 minutes) so my Fitbit is on my arm and my phone is in my bag
2) I am at work and don't move away from my desk for a longer time, my phone is on my desk and my Fitbit is on my arm.
Somehow the above rarely happens when I sleep so I guess I just move too much. Once it did sync at 5 am so I guess I was not moving.
Of course the above is not satisfactory and the notifications don't work with only occasional sync. I cannot send this **ahem** back because someone brought it for me from the US (ordered via Amazon). Of course not a single Amazon comment mentioned sync issues!!!
Best AnswerI have a huawei p9 android and the charge 2 and I am having so much trouble syncing. I have reinstalled the app, reconnected the charge 2, resetting charge 2 and nothing helps. There is no other device paired with my phone and still every time I want to sync I have t try a dozen times, turn off and back on Bluetooth until it finally works. When I go for an exercise walk and I turn on the walk it will always tell me charge is not connected to phone so I can't track my walk on the map. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?
Tia
