Mindful Breathing app - Hypertension Study
I was invited to participate in a 28-day Hypertension Study that required using the Mindful Breathing app tile to log blood pressure readings before, and after, a 15-minute Mindful Breathing session.
I tried to log Day 26 last night, but the app returned an error message saying it couldn't connect to servers. The same error message tonight.
I'm using the Sense, and the Android app.

I'm having the same issue.

The Hypertension app was flaky the whole 28 days.
I finally got a exit path. Now I'm trying to figure out how to remove it from my device.

The issue never resolved itself, but I’ve kept using it - the paced 6 breaths per min works, I almost always see a 5-20 pt drop in systolic bp, and a few pt drop in diastolic. Just logged Day 116 last night 👍.
it never connects to server, or registers in my Fitbit app as a mindfulness session logged, but that’s ok. It lowers my bp 95+% of the time ❤️🩹:love_hotel::wedding:

@MKKwisny I'm very interested in your experience. I got the banner invite, but I tapped on the "X" not realizing that it was my only chance to sign up. My background is physiology and I suspect part of the purpose of the study was to see if the Mindful Breathing kept blood pressure down long term, not just immediately after the session. Did you have any long term changes or only just after the session?
I really wanted to participate. I participated in the Fitbit Heart Study -- the study that led to the Irregular Rhythm Notifications.
