Hello @Bestoy2002, nice to see you have joined to the Fitbit Community! I'm wondering which model of tracker you have? I saw in your community profile you have a Charge HR as a paired device, so I just want to confirm if this is correct.

If you have a Charge HR, rest assure pressing the button will not erase your data, the tracker does not have control over your synced data in your Dashboard. In your case if you held the button for a long period of time, the tracker went into exercise mode. You will recognized this if on the screen you see an stopwatch.

The way to return things back is by doing the same procedure, press and hold the button for a few seconds and the tracker will end the exercise mode.

If you put your tracker in exercise mode and go for a run, once you stop exercise mode at the end of the run and sync your data, you’ll see the "Workout" in your exercise history. Details include a minute-by-minute graph and summary stats like duration and calorie burn.

Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.
