@akapabs, Mine fails to sync occasionally, maybe once every ten days or so. What I have done is to re-start the phone - completely shut it off and turn it back on. This always solves the problem. I think Sammy phones have difficulty with memory allocation. So, try restarting your smartphone . . . . signed, a Note 4 owner lol

@akapabs, in our experience (here's a great example) Fitbit customer service is very good at resolving problems like this. Start here. If they cannot solve the problem with your current device, they will replace it. Don't give up, these are wonderful trackers once you get them dialed in.

Thank you for your response. I have a fitbit Charge HR.. I'm using the fitbit Android app on a Samsung Galaxy phone. It actually hasn't properly synched in a week now.. it is very frustrating. I have tried everything I can think of and have followed all troubleshooting directions.
I have coworkers that have had fitbits for 3 years and have never experienced any problems but the more that I search for answers online it seems that far too many fitbit customers are running into these synch problems.
I'm desperate for any help that any one can offer. I thank you again for responding
and thank all helpers in advance.

Thank you for your response. For the week that the fibit Charge HR synched properly I loved it. I really don't want to give up on it.. I was logging everything I could and using the app and the dashboard on the computer regularly. Without the synching it's a real bummer because it doesn't track my sleep, which was really interesting to me and it doesn't update my resting heart rate.. on my writst I can track my current heart rate which is very important to me because I was recently hospitalized with a heart issue. I grew to depend on the fitbit in a very short period of time to monitor things that are fairly important to me right now.. I just want to get it synching again and running fitbit to it's full potential.
Thanks again. -pablo

@akapabs I'm running 5.02 system on my Galaxy phone. Sometimes it helps just to reboot the phone and do the toggle of bluetooth.
If nothing works, you can contact support at this link - click
There is a phone number for the USA and web based email for those out of the area.
and they might have additional options for you.
I moved this to the Android area, in case anyone else has some thoughts.
@tractorlegs Sometimes our phones like to play with us!

I had to turn my phone completely off two times (even took the battery out). After endless playing around with it.. it started to get to the "type the four digit number the fitbit is displaying screen".. I typed in the four digit number several times as I with my phone's Smart Manager kept on cleaning the phone's data.. everytime it gave me a different number.. must have done that over five times.. Finally something clicked.. and it synched.
Thanks again for the advice. -pablo

Mine hasn't synced for nearly two weeks now. Nothing works. NOTHING works. Have had so many issues with this device, which I have posted elsewhere, but I will never buy another fitbit product and I have been very frank with friends and colleagues when they ask me whether they should buy a fitbit product. Such a disappointment.
