[IMPORTANT] Fitbit Friends: Can't add, or see requests

Good evening (11:22p my time)

I am having issues with the Fitbit Application on my Google Pixel 10 Pro XL paired with my Google Pixel Watch 4.

What I know;

- Friend Requests and Messages should show up in the application in the chat bubble icon in the top right of my main dashboard next to my profile.

- People can add me, and I can add them vice-veesa three ways. By my information being a contact on their phone. Or them being on mine. Via email search, and/or a Fitbit Username/User ID search.

- You can only invite someone once

That all being said. This is my issue here.

My close friend and I want to be friends on the flFitbit app to have "friendly competition" however when I sent her my user ID and a link directly to my profile. She said that she found it, and send me a request.

The issue with that is I did not receive a push notification or email indicating someone had added me.

I looked everywhere. In silenced notifications, in other emails. In spam folders. Everywhere.

So, I responded to the friend, asking her for the email address associated with her Fitbit account. She sent it to me, and I located her via email. When I selected the add friend button, a splash screen appeared stating that she would see my stats. On the bottom right, the button reads "send invite" so I select that and follow up with her.

She says that she received the email about me wanting to be friends with her. When she opened it, it didn't say accept or anything similar. It just prompted her to send an invite back to me.

I thought, that's weird. I invited her already, why would she need to invite me?

I checked my security and privacy in the app. On my phone. I should be able to receive friend requests and should be able to see notifications. Why can't I?

I then attempted to invite her again, maybe it will fix itself. When I do that, it says I can only invite once.

So I looked on forums and read other information related. I even took to consulting Gemini for help.

What Gemini said was to delete the friend requests I sent her, and try again. The thing with that, since the Material Expressive redesign after the Google acquisition of Fitbit. The ability to delete a friend request has disappeared. So I can't do that.

I attempted to log out of my app, force close and log back in. In hopes it could jog it a bit. Nothing came from that. I still cannot see her request.

So now she's saying it's possibly her fault as she has a Google Pixel 9a and I have a Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. Which I know is not the case thought she's kind to feel as it's her fault.

In my searches, it is saying that is possible her request, and my request are not "connecting" and are just stuck in limbo. If that's the case, deleting and restarting those would be helpful, but as I have discovered. I cannot do that.

If there is anyone, anyone at all that could help me. I would greatly appreciate it.
