I've been given on older fitbit, I have a versa 3, I don't know the model and can't see it in the app. I would like to have it as a spare but can't link it to update all the details, time/ date etc. Please advise,
Cheers Al (Spain)

@AlinQuesada This link to the User Manuals has color images of every active Fitbit. If you don't see one that looks like yours, can you post a few pictures? It's important to show the front, the back side that shows the heart monitor and the charging connector.
I've helped many users identify old Fitbits. But nine out of ten times, they are other brands.

Since you say that you where given it, could the person you received it from ID it for you?
Does it have a physical button?
Tactile button?
Square?
Rectangle?

@Rich_Laue @LZeeW Thanks for your help. I have the same questions. We shall see!
@AlinQuesada Nice to see you in the forums again. I will gladly help you identify the Fitbit device so that you can use it as a spare device.
As provided by @LZeeW here you have the link to the users manual (click here) where you find pictures of the devices. You can compare them and find out which one is it. You can also attach pictures to your next post so that we can point out which device is it. Please note that some of the newer devices will replace the Versa 3 when you try to pair them. If it is a Charge 2 or an Alta HR, you can have them both on your account. I look forward to your reply!

Hi @AlinQuesada - you may need to view the user manual page in landscape mode on a mobile phone to get the pictures to show.
Also depending on the type of watch it is you may want to setup a separate Fitbit account as 2 watches of the same type as Versa 3 cannot be loaded on your account at the same time.
So it might be useful to have a backup account for the older watch in order not to upset your current setup.
You can easily switch between accounts by logging out of one and logging in to the other.
