I have notifications from Aug2017-May2018 it will not update new notifications

Thanks for bringing this up. I'd like to take a closer look at what is going on.
In this case my recommendation would be that you try to log out of your account and then log back in. That will force all details to be reloaded again and thus should get the notifications to display correctly.
In addition to that please try to clear the app's cache. You can click here to find instructions on how to do it. That should also help with the information that is shown in the app.

No, t didn't work. I've cleared cache, data, power off and on and nothing. I've deleted app and installed again and nothing.

I'd like to ask if the situation has continued since then or if the notifications have corrected themselves now. If the situation has continued please share a screenshot of the notifications that you are getting and let me know what phone you have and Android version is it that you are running.
