Hello! I have a fitbit charge 2 that is barely 6 months old. I recently started to notice that the heart rate readings are inaccurate. I'll be doing something relatively sedentary, and it will read ~ 104 bpm. I've taken my pulse and tracked my bpm with a different tracker, both of which are a lot more accurate than the fitbit. This has been a problem for a week now and still haven't resolved it. How do I make the sensor more accurate?
Potential solutions I've tried:
- resetting my fit bit by turning it on and off
- cleaning the fit bit band and sensors with rubbing alcohol
- using a toothpick to remove and residue beneath the sensor.
If anyone has had this issue, please let me know! Input is appreciated. It's turing into a waste of money, and it's so new...

Hi, @Linds888! It's great that you've tried that troubleshooting already. In your case, I would suggest getting in touch with Fitbit Support directly. To save yourself some time, make sure you metion your troubleshooting attempts to them, too.
