Incorrect time recorded with treadmill

Trying to re-build my stamina etc.  After 50 mins on treadmill, & 3.5 km, my watch has only recorded 35 minutes, but 3.48km!  Why has it lost 15 minutes but got almost correct distance?

Hi there @Coppertoprich, good to see you around! I was reading your treadmill session was not recorded correctly or at least the time was not for the 50 minutes.

I'm wondering which tracker do you have? Or how you were recording the treadmill session?

Distance can be explain, since this is based on the amount of steps and not in the total time of the activity. For more details, you can review this help article: How do I measure and adjust stride length for my Fitbit device?

Now about the total time, assuming you were using SmartTrack, it is possible your tracker was not able to recognized since the beginning that you were doing this exercise. So for this is recommended to reduce the time it takes for your tracker to recognize an activity. For more information, try this help: What should I know about SmartTrack exercise detection?

Let me know more details of the exercise in case this is not applicable to your scenario.

See you later.
