Inspire HR not tracking steps specifically in Sport.

My Fitbit HR has stopped tracking (or at least showing) my steps during sport. I use this on a weekly basis to track performance which is extremely frustrating. All historic data from Sport has also disappeared.

Did your steps eventually show up? There was another user who was using the Sport activity and didn't see steps. However, they reported that their steps recently showed up without having to do anything.

Unfortunately not, however I went for a walk and it picked up and reported the steps for that.
