Just happened to me tonite - looks like it quit around 3pm or so. Tried turning Bluetooth off/on - did nothing.
BUT this worked: Delete the app off your phone altogether. Re-add it from the Google Play store (don't worry, you don't lose your info.) Make sure the location is on for the app - went to sync again - it worked find, no problem.
